Teen Tech Tutors
Volunteers with this program help older adults with computers/tablets in a classroom setting. The program runs over a series of dates at different branches.Tutor Qualifications
- 14-18 years of age
- Tech savvy and comfortable with computers
- Good communication skills
- Be reliable, patient and trustworthy
- Able to commit to the dates and times listed below
- Experienced or interested in working with older adults/seniors
Responsibilities
- Attend training sessions
- Provide assistance to adults learning new computer skills
- Provide positive feedback and encouragement
- All volunteers ages eighteen (18) and over must provide a recent Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check
