Daily print balances for black and white and colour printing change January 2, 2026. The new daily print balance is 40 cents. Members receive four free black and white copies or two free colour copies.

Bring back your borrowed library items within 28 days to avoid a replacement or lost fee. We'll remove the fee when you bring back your overdue items.

Social Workers
Central Library has two social workers on site. Their office is on the 1st Floor, near the Information Desk. They connect people with health and social services and answer questions about community resources. They can also visit other HPL branches upon request.
Social Worker's Schedule:
Tuesday 1pm-3pm
Wednesday 9am-11:30am
Thursday 1:30-4:30
Friday 9am-11:30am
