Hamilton Conservation Authority Pass
Explore local conservation areas by borrowing a Hamilton Conservation Authority (HCA) pass from Hamilton Public Library. Enjoy free admission to Christie Lake, Tiffany Falls, Valens Lake and 10 other sites. The one-week pass allows free entry for up to six people per vehicle, year-round, seven days a week, sunrise to sunset.
How do I borrow a HCA Pass?
Place a hold for a HCA pass through Hamilton Public Library’s catalogue.
How long can I use it?
The free pass is valid for one week. Please return it to any HPL branch upon expiry.
What conservation areas are included with the Pass?
Visit Christie Lake, Confederation Beach Park, Crooks’ Hollow, Devil’s Punchbowl, Dofasco 2000 Trail, Dundas Valley, Eramosa Karst, Fifty Point, Fletcher Creek Ecological Reserve, Saltfleet, Spencer Gorge*, Tiffany Falls, Valens Lake and Westfield Heritage Village.
*Reservations are required to visit Spencer Gorge.
Can I use this Pass to enter conservation areas in other cities?
No. This is for use only at Hamilton conservation areas.
Are there discounts available with this Pass?
Receive a 15% discount on HCA rentals (pavilions and group picnic sites). The discount is not available at Confederation Beach Park, Wild Waterworks or for wedding rentals.
