The accessible washroom at Greensville Branch is not working. We aim to get it fixed quickly.
Renovations are currently underway for the 2nd Floor Central Children's Area. Programs are still being offered as scheduled and there is a temporary pop-up Children’s Area on the northeast side of the 2nd Floor (near the Piano Room), including access to collections and train tables. Construction is expected to be completed by late Spring. Thank you for your patience.
As of Monday, March 2, Sherwood Branch's 2nd Floor is closed due to renovations. Makerspace, Children and Teen's collection are temporarily available on the 1st Floor. The Valley Park Branch is open. It remains open at the current site until late Fall 2019. When construction begins there, the branch moves to a temporary location at 1050 Paramount Drive, Unit #12, Stoney Creek. Stay tuned for details on the opening date of this temporary site. During the transition, a library materials drop box is available for members to return items at the 970 Paramount Dr. branch.
The new Valley Park Branch is expected to be complete by Fall 2021. Library members are invited to access library services and materials by visiting other area branch locations during construction:

This is a vibrant, growing community and this new building – with its beautiful reading courtyard and modern programming spaces – will be a gathering space for all to come together to discover, learn and share,” says Paul Takala, Chief Librarian, Hamilton Public Library.
During the construction phase, the temporary branch location will be at 1050 Paramount Drive, Unit #12, Stoney Creek.
