Celebrate Pride Season at Hamilton Public Library with programs, stories and resources for all ages. From Storytimes and social meetups to curated collections and local history archives, discover ways to connect, learn and celebrate 2SLGBTQIA+ communities across HPL and throughout the city.

Community Archive

LGBT2SQ+ Community Archive, opens a new window  

Discover HPL’s LGBT2SQ+ Community Archive, founded through a generous donation by Michael Johnstone, who spent over 50 years preserving Hamilton’s LGBT2SQ+ history. Now housed in Central Library’s Local History and Archives (3rd Floor), the collection includes photos, clippings and more.
