Sewing Machine
Create and mend using a Janome HD3000 sewing machine. While perfect for beginners, this heavy-duty machine also comes with a variety of stitch types, presser feet, and accessories.
Pricing: $1.50 per 30 minutes (or free if using your own thread)
Getting Started
- If needed, book a one-on-one appointment with Staff to learn to get oriented with the sewing machine.
- Reserve a two-hour booking either using the Makerspace online booking form or in-person at a branch.
- Bring your fabric (and your thread – optional) at the time of your booking and get sewing.

We recommend starting with a draft piece of fabric to get a feel for the machine and set your tension and stitch settings correctly. The Library is not responsible for any damage done to your materials.
