The parking lot elevator at Terryberry Branch is not working. Members will need to use the accessible ramp at the Mohawk entrance and the inner elevator. We're working to get it fixed quickly.

The accessibility ramp at Mount Hope Branch is damaged. The handrail is not available. The ramp will not be available while being repaired. We aim to fix it quickly.

HPL welcomes suggestions for purchase.
Physical books, graphic novels, movies, music and book club kits.
Please follow these guidelines:
- If you are a local author, use the Spotlight on Local form
- Please check the Library Catalogue to ensure we don’t already have the title.
- Please submit a separate form for each title suggested.
- Suggested titles must be available for purchase in Canada.
- Each suggested title will be considered by our Collections Librarians
- Please request titles published more than two years ago through interlibrary loan.
- Bear in mind that not-yet-released popular books, movies and music are likely on our order list.
- If the suggested title is out-of-print or falls outside of HPL’s Collection Policy and is not purchased, please request through interlibrary loan.
- Use OverDrive’s Recommendation feature for eBook and eAudio purchase suggestions.
- Also check our partner libraries using the link at the top of HPL's OverDrive service.
Due to the volume of submissions, Collections staff are unable to meet with authors individually, or confirm purchase decisions. If purchased,- the items will appear in our catalogue.
