Call for Instructors: Creative Aging Programs for Older Adults
Hamilton Public Library invites Hamilton and area teachers, artists, writers or musicians to submit proposals for Creative Aging programs. In the past, the library has offered programs for seniors (ages 55+) that promote lifelong learning, diversity and inclusion, personal expression, and community through the creative arts including painting, sketching, journaling and floral arranging. The programs will be offered for free at library branches across the system.
- HPL is pleased to work with a variety of highly qualified outside presenters who are able to offer programs where they share specific professional expertise with library customers. Please describe your qualifications and/or which organization you represent professionally.
- Please include a detailed program description. As a public institution, please note that presentations focus on providing information only and cannot promote a business or include any form of solicitation or sales as outline by HPL's Program Policy.
- Instructors will be fairly compensated for their time and all the materials that they supply to participants. Please estimate the cost (per program) that will cover your honorarium fee as well as all supplies needed for at least 15 participants.
- If you have a program proposal intended for Kids, Teens or Adults, please fill out HPL Program Application Form.
